I sat down to paint some miniature pieces on 2 x 4 inch canvas panels, but felt like I was working a bit too small for this morning. So, I persisted, and decided to paint some coffee filters as future borders, and then became completely engrossed in filling this particular coffee filter with sentiments while I watched the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade. And at the very end, I realized I'd printed the same phrase three times. So, this may need a do-over someday. Or, this may just become a border like it was intended to be.

It's my niece's fifteenth birthday, too. I've become accustomed to spending this time with her and her family in Texas, so I'm missing them a lot today. Happy Birthday, Gretchen!
