good weekend

this weekend, i painted this zebra-inspired ring for a friend's daughter. it was so much fun to paint that i think i'll make more:



i also saw rock of ages starring constantine maroulis. he was perfect for the role - i think that i forgot how much i like to hear him sing.

and then tonight my church held a passion play and it was pretty awesome, too.
